Sonora Quest Laboratories chooses Freedom Imaging Systems to Implement Paradatec's PROSAR-AIDA, for medical EOB processing

After a thorough evaluation process, Sonora Quest Laboratories has chosen Freedom Imaging Systems to implement Paradatec's industry leading Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software technology for automating their medical explanation of benefits (EOB) remittance capture process.

The installation will streamline Sonora Quest Laboratories’ billing process by extracting scanned EOB data and passing the data to their billing system. Non-electronic EOBs received by Sonora Quest Laboratories will be scanned and processed through Paradatec’s OCR software engine allowing for the creation of standard 835 files for automatic posting within their financial billing system.
